Alex is one! I feel like I just took his newborn photos, time passes so quickly. I hung out a few weeks ago at his birthday celebration and here are a selection of photos from his special day.

Alexander cumplio un año! Siento que recien estuve sacando sus fotos de recien nacido. Disfrute la celebracion de su cumpleaños hace un par de semanas, y aqui son algunas fotos de su dia especial.

Love his blue eyes. Me encantan sus ojos azules.

He has already perfected the serious, concentrated model look. Ya tiene perfecionado el “look” serio y concentrado de modelo.

He was a little unsure about the cake at first, but once he got going he was soon covered in frosting. No estuvo seguro de la torta al principio, pero despues quedo cubierto de chocolate.

We had a beautiful summer afternoon for this family’s session and the light was perfect. The kids had a lot of energy and the flowers, planes and sand were often more entertaining than picture taking, but I think we got some good ones. Enjoy!

Para las sesion de esta familia, tuvimos una perfecta tarde de verano y con luz ideal. Los ninos tenian mucha energia, y los flores, aviones y arena eran mas entretenidos que sacar fotos, pero creo que obtuvimos algunas muy buenas. Disfruta!

I know this last one is really out of focus, but I love it because I think it perfectly features Francisco’s energy.

I had a lot of fun with this guy, his mom, and Buzz and Woody from Toy Story. He was a bit shy at first, but once he got going he couldn’t stop smiling, playing and posing. We took avantage of the gorgeous spring morning for his shoot as well.

Lo pase muy bien con este nino, su Mama y Buzz y Woody de Toy Story. Empezo la sesion muy timido, pero despues no paraba de sonreir, jugar y posear. Aprovechemos una manana muy linda de primavera para su sesion.

Amalia has gotten so big! Remember her newborn and 3 month sessions? It was so great to see her and her family this past weekend and see her happy face and cute accessories.

As some of you may have read on my quick peek on the Facebook fan page, Avery was a star at her photo session. She feel asleep right away and stayed that way for most of the session. Como algunas quizas han leido en nuestra pagina de Facebook, Avery fue una estrella en su sesion. Quedo dormido al tiro y quedo asi por la mayoria de la sesion. I had the opportunity to photograph this 2 week old newborn today and he was a star. He behaved so well for his session and enjoyed his first visit to his apartment’s patio. Katie’s mom was visiting so we were able to get a shot of the three Generations. . .La mama de Katie esta visitando entonces aprovechemos sacar una foto de las tres generaciones.

This little guy was happiest when he had something to suck on, Mom’s finger is perfect. . . Este ninito esta lo mas contento cuando tiene algo para chupar, el dedo de mama es perfecto.

I know he is crying in this one, but its a realistic look into newborn life and I think Katie looks like a beautiful new mom in this shot. . .Yo se que esta llorando en esta foto, pero es una vista realistica a la vida de un recien nacido y creo que Katie se ve como una mama nueva muy linda.

Greg was one of the winners of Media Naranja Photography’s Celebrate Love contest that we had back in February and after meeting him and his family this past weekend, I can certainly see why. They are a happy, loving family who certainly know how to have a good time together. Here’s a selection of the portraits from their session. Enjoy!

Greg fue uno de los ganadores del concurso de Celebrar Amor que tuvimos en Febrero, y despues de conocer a el y a su familia el fin de semana pasada, puedo ver por que son tan especiales. Es una familia feliz y amorosa que sabe como pasarlo bien juntos. Aqui va una seleccion de los retratos de sus sesion. Disfruta!

We did their session at Santiago College, which is absolutely gorgeous and has some great architectural details as well as beautiful roses and trees. Hicimos la sesion en Santiago College, lo que es muy lindo y tiene algunos detalles de arquitectura muy interesante ademas de rosas y arboles muy bonitos.

Agustin-1 year old

Agustin is 1! I’ve been meaning to post this for a while now, but new things keep coming up. I will do a post soon with updates about life in Chile and the earthquake, but in the meantime, enjoy some cuteness. It has been a pleasure to watch this little guy grow up. Here you can see him at 6 months and 9 months. He and his family have been great to work with and I hope there are more sessions in his future. It was by chance that we met, but I feel lucky to know them all.

Agustin cumplio un año! Demore un poco en subir estas fotos, pero ha sido un placer verlo crecer eses ultimos meses. Aqui lo puedes ver a los 6 meses y 9 meses. Ha sido fantastico trabajar con el y su familia y espero que haya mas sesiones en su futuro. Fue al azar que conocimos, pero yo siento con la suerte de haberle conocidos.
